Quali Sports - Compact Folding Electric Bikes

New product announcement! 2020 is here and we’re starting off with some new compact bikes coming through the pipeline. There has certainly been a demand for a smaller, more compact 16” folding electric bikes for folks with want the best portability and light weight out of their ride. With the ending of production on the Blix Vika Travel 16”, we began to search the landscape for something new.

Quali Sports offers a wide range of Ebikes in this segment, including the Nemo 16” model. It’s compact, folding, and has a slick integrated battery seat post. The Bike weighs in at just 30 lbs, uses Samsung cells, and is our most affordable bike (priced at $1199, Hawaii msrp). We had a chance to test ride the bike at Interbike 2018, and was impressed by its overall form factor and ease of use. Pedal assist and throttle modes are both options.

Going down the lineup, the Beluga is Quali Sport’s 20” fat offering. “Beluga is a super cool, rugged and powerful electric folding bike for urban explorers, campers and mobile home owners.” The fat tires offer a supple and sturdy ride, while the increase in power (48 volt, 500 watt drive system) will be appreciated by anybody who wants a little extra kick in their commute.
