BOSCH eBike System Warranty

Bosch eBike System components (excluding PowerPacks) have a 2-year warranty period from date of first end consumer purchase. Note: the warranty period for eBikes used in commercial applications is reduced by 1 year.

The Bosch PowerPack Guarantee, guarantees batteries will maintain at least 60% of its maximum capacity within the warranty period. There are three cases in which a PowerPack with less than 60% of its maximum capacity would be eligible for warranty replacement:

• Within 2 years of the date of first end-consumer purchase, or

• Within 3 years of the battery manufacture date, or

• Before 500 full charge cycles

Whichever of these cases comes first would apply. For example, if battery manufacture date is Jan 1st, 2021, and you purchased the eBike on Jan1st, 2022, the warranty guarantees that the battery will hold at least 60% of its original capacity until Jan1st, 2024.

Battery Pack warranty

A minimum of 500 charging cycles or 70% (300Wh) and 60% (400Wh) respectively of the nominal capacity (based on information stored on the Battery Pack) within the warranty period.

Damage resulting from improper use is not covered under warranty; improper use includes activities that can overstrain the battery, or any alteration of the original Bosch system.
